Bristol
The first thing that strikes most people about
Bristol is that it is, fundamentally, a youthful city. There’s a
buzz about the place. The vast number of bars, restaurants, night
clubs, music venues and theatres indicate how social and creative
this city is all year round, but it is all fuelled by the people of
the city. Bristol is one of the more racially and socially
integrated cities in the country and, being in the West Country, it
naturally has a more comfortable pace to life. I think of Bristol
as London’s laid-back little brother!Mott MacDonald’s Bristol office is located right in the centre of the town, ten minutes walk to anywhere and everything of significance. The office comprises three main divisions; buildings and infrastructure, railways and business and technology consulting. While the three divisions are working on different projects, the members of the sport and social club are extremely active in arranging events that all members of staff are encouraged to participate in.
Because Bristol is one of the smaller Mott MacDonald offices, there is a strong community among the younger employees but there is also plenty of opportunity to get yourself noticed and progress your career.
