Airports

As a graduate in the aviation team, I am exposed to a variety of different types of work from economic appraisals and air traffic forecasts to airport facility design. Graduates in the team are given opportunities to grow and develop. Opportunities range from designing taxiway layouts and producing small economic appraisals to managing work streams and small projects.

I personally have been involved in a number of private finance projects in Europe including Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and Cyprus. My duties on these projects have ranged from undertaking financial reviews of the Bill of Quantities supplied by the contractors, undertaking the monthly monitoring reports which inform the lenders the milestones completed and subsequently the required payment for each month and even site visits to check the working practices of the contractor.

In my opinion working in the Mott MacDonald aviation team has given me opportunities that I would have struggled to find in other areas of work and enabled me to stretch my wings and realise my full potential.
