I work in the Business, Management and Consultancy Division of Mott MacDonald, an area of the group which has undergone significant growth over the last few years to offer a wide range of opportunities for skilled professionals and graduates from different backgrounds.

Our team is nationwide and our services to customers cover everything - government, defence, education management, energy, waste, healthcare management, industry, property, telecommunications, and transport and utilities to name but a few.

We assist our customers in designing, developing and delivering the benefits of their business investments and producing effective solutions to real business issues. Our ability to add value comes from our staff's vast experience of observing and contributing to good management practice in numerous projects and businesses, backed by our ability to transfer skills and methodologies, across many sectors.

My contribution over the last few years has been in the specialist area of PPP Advisory Services. I operate in both the UK and mainland Europe working for executive Government agencies, funding institutions, and project sponsors, managing teams of specialist resources to deliver large scale infrastructure investment programmes. I interface almost daily with other leading financial and legal firms in delivering solutions to our customers. I thus combine management consultancy skills with technical and project management expertise and this presents me with the opportunity to engage with all areas of Mott MacDonald as well as travel, utilising my language skills to good effect.

In such an evolving and expanding market our staff development needs are great and diverse and our training is constituted of both the mastering of hard skills and practices as well as softer business skills such as negotiation, sales, and communication.
