Our approach is to nurture a continuous learning culture, encouraging our staff to improve their core competencies in all areas of business performance and to be proactive in their own development. This way individuals benefit as well as the company.

Making sure we continuously develop the right skills in the right people so we can face a changing business environment proactively - this lies at the heart of our new performance development review process, a key element in our career development initiative. So too does our recognition that today we all have higher expectations as individuals in terms of our career and personal growth.

We set out to provide the right environment and resources for everyone to develop their knowledge and skills - both technical and non-technical staff. Relevant training courses and other tools for personal development are made available by our learning and development experts who are also on hand for advice and coaching.

Our Group-wide staff exchange programme continues to support our aim of creating centres of professional excellence around the world.
