Ever felt moved to use your skills to bring relief for people in real need? Over the years dozens of Mott MacDonald staff have helped Oxfam, Save the Children, Tearfund and other charities to provide water, shelter and sanitation for people suffering the effects of conflicts and natural disasters.

Often this support is provided through RedR, an international charity working to relieve suffering in disasters by selecting, training and providing competent and effective personnel to humanitarian aid agencies world-wide. Mott MacDonald has supported RedR ever since its founding in 1979 and all our staff who’ve contributed have found the experience hugely challenging but immensely rewarding too, personally as well as professionally.

We’ve recently launched a new global volunteer award in recognition of our many staff who give up their own time to support charities and other organisations providing a service to communities around the world. The Community Award is open to all permanent staff world-wide who make a difference through voluntary work. The winner will receive a cash sum for their chosen charity or organisation.
